While most energy management products in the market focused on showing historical usage and pattern, GridNavigator’s forecasting data engine allows customers to take actions before the energy slippage and control the demand high water mark.

Aviv Reit Inc., is among the largest owners of skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) in the US has partnered with GridNavigator to implement CarbonIndex.com Energy Management System to measure and optimize their energy usage. The initial states participating in the program are California, Texas and Connecticut. Each Aviv home will benefit from a spectrum of both behavioral and systematic savings to reduce the demand charges.

GridNavigator is implementing a spectrum of both electrical and gas sub-metering to give Sumner School District a more complete picture of their energy usage in real-time. GridXchange server will integrate with the centralized heating and cooling systems to identify what events are contributing the most to the demand charge. Using the ABS bridge to EPA, GridNavigator will obtain each school’s energy star rating.

Motorola has launched the LED Solution Center showroom. The LED display features the use of the LightingNavigator control system manufactured by GridNavigator. LightingNavigator is an integrated hardware/software solution installed with LED & LEP lights which enable Motorola customers to control street light, parking lot, or other LED lighting applications. CarbonIndex.com will not serve as a platform for continuous efficiency improvement and carbon footprint reporting, but will validate the efficiency performance of thin client PC's that use less than 10% of the energy of standard PC's.

Edmonds community college standardizes in GridNavigator EIS to help facilitate the President Climate Commitment ( www.presidentsclimatecommitment.org). The new data center at EDCC leverages GridNavigator EIS to validate energy efficiency. Denali Advanced Integration deployed GridNavigator EIS to validate the efficiency performance of a server virtualization project. The EIS was deployed prior to deployment of a project that reduced data center energy usage by over 75%. GridNavigator validated the efficiency performance to meet utility audit requirements as well as ESPC requirements.
